Rumor has it that Windows Phone 7 will finally get an official launch on October 11th. Microsoft will supposedly make this announcement in New York. The last time Microsoft spoke of a release date was quite a few months ago, saying nothing more than it would be available by this year's holiday season. We already know that Windows Phone 7 recently got the big RTM, so it can't be long before WP7 can finally replace the extremely outdated Windows Mobile 6.5 on the market.
