I would think nearly everyone that uses Facebook heavily has used Facebook Connect on an external website at least once. You probably know it well. If you are logged into Facebook already, you can go to a website with Connect, click "Connect to Facebook" (or Login with Facebook, etc.), and automatically be logged into that service. If you aren't logged into Facebook initially, of course you will have to enter your username and password.

Well now, Facebook is bringing that productivity feature to the mobile platform. You will be able to sign into accounts using your Facebook credentials and once you are logged in, never have to enter your credentials anywhere else until you sign out.

Facebook is updating the Android SDK today and the iPhone SDK next week with the tools needed to implement this for developers.
