Facebook is apparently testing with a very small group of users the ability to video chat with friends on Facebook using Skype. In October, Skype 5.0 was released and provided Facebook integration right from the client to see your news feed, post a status, and import friends as you contacts. Video chatting on Facebook could be a follow up to that partnership.

This isn't the first time that code was spotted referencing a possible video chat feature. Way back in early 2009, similar code was spotted but Facebook responded saying they had no plans to actually launch this feature any time soon. Now with the recent collaboration between Facebook and Skype plus the reappearance of video chat code, it definitely seems likely that we'll be seeing video chat capabilities finally come to Facebook.
