Verizon Launches 4G LTE Network December 5th
Verizon announced today they are officially going live with their 4G network in just four days on December 5th. It will cover more than one third of Americans at launch, however will be primarily for laptop use at first. $50/month will get you 5GB of 4G data and $80 will get you 10GB with overages at $10 per additional gigabyte. It's pretty pricey, but will likely go down over time. Two USB modems with 4G will be a part of this launch with 4G handsets expected to begin appearing by mid-2011.
