Sprint Unveils the HTC Evo 3D
Today at CTIA 2011, Sprint unveils a very unique addition to the HTC Evo series, the HTC Evo 3D. That's right, this bad boy is all about the third dimension. The user interface on the smartphone has a 3D effect when scrolling and rotating. Plus, it can take real 3D photos and video and play them back on the screen in 3D without glasses.
On the spec side of things, it features a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch display and dual cameras. Oddly, it also has a full 1GB of RAM -- which is a bit unnecessary for a phone -- and only 4GB of storage -- which is on the smaller side for a phone. Thankfully, it will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Google's latest version of Android. It will be available this summer. No pricing details were announced, but you can bet this will probably be above the standard $200.
CNET already has their "first look" at the phone, so check out that video after the break.
