Microsoft announced recently that in the eighteen months Windows 7 has been available, the company has sold 350 million licenses. They announced back in January that they had sold around 300 million and since then, increased sales by another 50 million. Granted, these numbers are not specific in how the licenses were sold but let's be nice to Microsoft for once. Any way you look at it, 350 million in a year and a half is a huge accomplishment.
