Microsoft has confirmed that the codename for the Windows Phone 7.5 update is Mango, but instead they will label it as just Windows Phone 7.5. Probably because the average consumer cares so much about version numbers. As previously announced, this update will bring speedier browser performance thanks to IE9, Twitter integration into the OS, multitasking, and other improvements for both the users and the developers. The release date for this update has not yet been disclosed.
